Reduce manual invoicing, AP/AR processing, GST reconciliation and bank matching. Syentrix automates the repetitive parts of the finance back-office for Indian NBFCs, CA practices and SME finance teams, with a person approving what matters.
Every manual keystroke in a finance department is a chance for an error. Here is where it usually hurts.
Data typed from invoices, bank statements and GSTR-2B into Tally, Zoho Books or Excel gets miskeyed. One wrong invoice number or GSTIN turns into mismatched input tax credit, duplicate payments and queries from your auditor.
Vendor invoices arrive by email and WhatsApp in different formats and wait for someone to key them in. Late payments strain supplier relationships, and for micro and small suppliers the payment-timeline rule in Section 43B(h) of the Income-tax Act can affect when you can claim the deduction. Check the treatment with your CA.
GST returns, TDS deposits and returns, advance tax and statutory audit all have due dates. When the workflow lives in spreadsheets, month-end and quarter-end become a fire drill, with interest and late fees if something slips.
Each module is scoped to your accounting stack (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP Business One, ERPNext or Excel) and your banks' statement formats.
Invoice receipt to payment. OCR extracts data from PDFs, images and email attachments, including GST invoice fields such as GSTIN, HSN/SAC and IRN where present. PO matching, approval routing and duplicate detection for payables, plus reminders and receipt allocation for receivables.
Match bank statement lines (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI) against ledger entries using rules and fuzzy matching, flag mismatches, and push confirmed entries to Tally or Zoho Books. Statement formats differ by bank, so mapping is set up per account.
Journal entries, accruals, provisions and close checklists with parallel task execution and dashboards for the finance head. Useful for MIS packs, board reporting and Ind AS or Companies Act schedules prepared with your CA.
Receipt capture by mobile or email, policy checks, approval routing and reimbursement by bank transfer or UPI, with GST input-credit eligibility flagged for review. Out-of-policy and duplicate claims are caught automatically.
GST: purchase-register reconciliation with GSTR-2B, GSTR-1 and 3B working papers, e-invoice and e-way bill tracking. TDS: section-wise computation, deposit and 26Q or 24Q due-date tracking, and Form 16 and 16A follow-up. Filing stays with you or your CA.
Every financial transaction logged with timestamps, user IDs, approval chains and change history, so documents for your statutory auditor and internal financial controls reviews can be pulled on demand.

Invoices arrive by email, get extracted by OCR, are checked against POs and the vendor's GSTIN, and are routed for approval. Exceptions are flagged for a person to resolve.
Automated journal entries, accruals and reconciliations, with close tasks running in parallel. The finance head reviews a dashboard instead of chasing spreadsheets.
Payroll for several branches or entities, with PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS on salary (Form 24Q) computations prepared and checked in one run. Disbursal and filing stay subject to your approval.
EMI due-date reminders, NACH and e-mandate bounce tracking, KYC document checks and collections MIS built from your loan management system. Regulatory reporting to RBI remains with your compliance team.
Rolling cash-flow forecasts built from payment history, receivables ageing and committed payables, refreshed daily from your accounting data.
Rules and AI flag duplicate invoice numbers, unusual amounts, changed vendor bank details and out-of-pattern activity for review before payment is released.
Controls and documentation are designed with Indian regulatory expectations in mind. Whether a given deployment meets a specific requirement depends on how it is implemented, and this is not legal, tax or audit advice.
Segregation of duties, approval limits, control checks and documentation that support statutory audit and internal financial controls (IFC) reviews under the Companies Act.
Bank and payment data protected with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access and access logs. Personal data in finance records is handled with the DPDP Act, 2023 in mind. See our Compliance Check.
Revenue recognition, lease accounting and consolidation schedules prepared to support Ind AS or Indian GAAP reporting, and MIS for NBFCs, with your CA or auditor reviewing the output.
We do not publish performance percentages, because results depend on your volumes and systems. These are facts about how an engagement starts.
Common questions from Indian finance teams evaluating workflow automation.
It depends on scope. Invoice intake and AP automation for one entity is much quicker to set up than a multi-entity close process connected to several banks and an ERP. We start with a free process audit to map your existing workflows and identify quick wins, agree a phased plan, and give you a timeline in writing before any build begins.
In most cases, yes. Indian finance teams commonly use Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, SAP Business One, ERPNext, Microsoft Dynamics or Excel-based set-ups. Syentrix connects through APIs, import and export files, Tally's XML interface and email triggers, so you do not have to replace your system. Integration depth varies: some products expose full APIs and others only imports and exports, and we confirm what is possible in the audit.
OCR and language models can read PDFs, scanned images and email attachments in varying layouts and extract fields such as vendor name, GSTIN, invoice number, HSN/SAC, line items and tax amounts. Accuracy depends on scan quality and layout, so low-confidence fields are routed to a person for review instead of being posted automatically. Handwritten or poor-quality scans are harder. See our guide to intelligent document processing.
For preparation, reconciliation and tracking, yes. Typical workflows include reconciling your purchase register with GSTR-2B, preparing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B working papers, tracking e-invoice (IRN) and e-way bill status, computing TDS by section, and reminding you of deposit and return due dates. Filing and approvals stay with you or your CA. Rules and thresholds change, so confirm the treatment with your CA.
Financial data is protected with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access and audit logs. Workflows are designed with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for regulated entities such as NBFCs, RBI guidance in mind. Whether a deployment meets a given standard depends on the specific implementation and hosting, and this is not legal or compliance advice. You can check where you stand with our Compliance Check.
It depends on your volumes, so we do not quote a fixed return. As an illustration only, using assumed per-invoice costs inside the ranges we see in Indian practice: if processing one invoice costs about ₹250 manually (clerk time, follow-ups, corrections) and about ₹40 once automated, then 1,000 invoices a month cost ₹2.5 lakh manually and ₹40,000 automated, a difference of about ₹2.1 lakh a month. Your own costs and volumes will differ, and a lower volume gives a smaller saving against the build cost. We would work through your numbers in the audit.
